Modern Women : This song I wrote in Holland, I remember it very clearly, I went for a walk in the woods after playing piano for a bit and got a melody in my head, then I got the words Modern Women, by the time I was finished my walk I had the chorus “Ooh modern women, You’ve got to say something, etc.” and the “We like girls, we like boys section”, straight away I heard the low bow, bow, bow’s at the end of each chorus. Its one of the first times that I used my trumpet playing skills (or lack there of) in a song of mine.
